Brave Story by Miyuki MiyabeWataru is torn between his parents divorce. He somehow wants to get them back together. And so the journey begins where he enters into this fanstasy world full of demons and magic. A goddess, who can change destiny,stumbles upon him and takes him on a journey. Only when he has finished his journey and collected five elusive gemstones will he possess the Demon’s Bane—the key that will unlock his future. Charity, bravery, faith, grace and the power of darkness and light: these are the provinces of each gemstone. Provinces brought together, they Wataru's family is reunited and he is grateful and happy.
This story was of course fantasy, of which I am not a big fan of. The possesion of the gemstones was interesting and I enjoyed how he was able to reunite with his family at the end.
